How many days until school starts again?

School has not been out for a week, yet I think I'm going to kill my children.

The fighting. Oh my Lord the fighting!

One who is crying wolf, one who hits. One who is bossy, one who won't be bossed.

And 2 of the last 6 days have been spent on events- one theme park and one beach day. Two days have had an hour or so of school-ish work, reading, math, etc.

They have been warned, and don't think I won't follow through. I'm all about the follow through.

If this starts to happen again tomorrow they will be in opposite corners of the house, or yard, with a stack of books.

With no beach in sight for a looooooong time.

The first week is tough, I'll grant you that. They're adjusting, you're adjusting. Get some sleep, all of you (I know, I know...who am I talking to :), and just take it easy for a few. Hopefully they'll start to work it out.

That's it! CAGE MATCH!!!! :D

I have to agree! We've been out for 2 weeks and I thought I was going to wring their little necks after a few days. They are much better now... so there is hope! Hang in there and keep your chin up!

Speak it, sis-tah!

Summer is overrated. Especially when you home school.

My kids are GOING to school next year (part-time) and I've never BEEN so excited for summer to be over.

That could also have a lot to do with the fact that we live in Atlanta - and after growing up in Minnesota - WINTERS here feel like summer.

LOL This is why I"m glad that one will be a senior next year and the other in in daycare still. The oldest just goes when he wants to.

I'm with Sam though...CAGE FIGHT!! LOL

Almost over....almost over. Just keep chanting that and eventually it will be.

I'm here to tell you it does NOT get better week two, or week three for that matter. You sum it up perfectly, except I have two who insist on bossing and three who will not be bossed. argh.
