How Far Would You Go For A Child?

I have been reading Mary and Melanie for a long time now and they are mighty women of God and have hearts for children in need. You can click on their stories by clicking on these links all week long-all 7 of them will be liveblogging their trip and will have incredible stories to tell.

[Earlier this year Compassion took another trip-to Uganda. I read the stories each day and was truly moved. Shannon and Sophie were a part of that trip, among others, and you can find their stories in their archives. Worth the dig.]

They are traveling for Compassion International to bring attention to the need of the children there. There are currently 493 children there that need sponsors. For $32 a month you can sponsor one of these children, or one from anywhere around the world. Compassion truly helps children and their families make it through the poverty that surrounds them.

On the Compassion website you can sponsor a child, donate to a number of special funds, and find out more about what they do.

I'm praying for their trip- for safe travel, for lives to be changed, and for a mighty number of blog readers to be moved to help. Will you help?
