Most Epic Birthday

We finally had a good party for HB#2. (If you don't remember why this is important read this. This poor kid's parties have sucked in the past.) Totally hit the jackpot with this one.

So, I found a video game truck to come to the house for 2 hours on Saturday night. The kids came a little early and we fed them before the 'Main Event'. This truck was EPIC. 2 large screens on the outside of the truck, (as seen above, complete with one of the dads getting in on the Just Dance action,) and 4 screens inside. Each screen was outfitted with an XBOX and a Wii, so everyone could play exactly what they wanted to play.

You guys, it was totally worth is to see all of these kids so happy.

Oh, but just so you know, 2 of the kids that RSVP'd to the last one and didn't show?, did the same last night. Not even kidding.

Like the last party, this was also a football playoff weekend. I'm sorry to say that our Saints lost yesterday. It was a great battle, and a heartbreaker. They were playing the team that they had their only regular season loss to... again, by one point. All in all it was a terrific season and I'm really proud of our boys.

But it's still sad to lose in the semi-finals.

WOW, you are the COOLEST mom in town!!! I wonder if we have something like that around here. Our boys would go nuts to have a truck like that show up at the house!

...now, what will you do for next year? ;)

Ok, that is the coolest idea ever! Honestly, I can't imagine anything could top that one!

Great Job HM!

PS...the whole RSVP thing, gets under my skin...I don't understand people.

I am glad to hear everything turned out all right, especially after reading your previous birthday post and the attached comments. Why are people so thoughtless?

totally cool and FUN party!! Happy belated to #2 from me and Ky. As for the RSVP losers...next year will you
1. exclude from the list
2. call them personally when they reply yes, but mean no?

I would have been all over the Just Dance in the street in the dark of night...that's where I do my BEST dancing!

BTW, saw Flashdance and had a TOTAL flashback to The Flick :)
