Can't and Won't

I usually try not to use those words in absolutes. Like "My kid won't ever do that." It's just a recipe for disaster, right? I'm trying to teach my kids that 'can't' should not be a part of their vocabulary, either. Having a certain someone say that they can't memorize something is driving me and my husband nuts because, uh, YES YOU CAN. You just might have to work hard, and practice hard, and do it over and over again until you finally nail it. But you CAN.

I'm breaking my own rules about these for today, though.

I WON'T get on Facebook today.
I CAN'T sit down until some major progress is made. In many areas.

I got so much done yesterday. ALL of the laundry. ALL of the ironing. Vacuuming. Dinner for 9! I felt accomplished. So. This morning I did my blog-checking and my fb-checking, I volunteered in #2's class. I'm writing now. The Won't and Can't start now.

I'll be back to let you know how it went.

Some can't and won't are important:

I WON'T cuss, chew, or go with those who do. Oh shoot, I MARRIED one who does, but I leave your fertile imagine to figure out what he does.

That's just a silly idea, but you get the idea.

I CAN'T walk a mile in your shoes, no matter how hard I try and I CAN'T fly having no wings.

Again - - - you get the idea!

But oh man oh man do I ever agree with your premise on this one.
