Family Fun For Thanksgiving

Thank you to Ubisoft for sponsoring this post. Please click here to learn more about Ubisoft. I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls Collective. #UbiChamps

Finding fun things to do with the whole family during holidays can get, um, challenging when your kids reach a certain age. My kids are 22, 13 (next week!,) and 11. My husband and I are in the 40/50 range and my parents are older than that. There are not a whole lot of options for this wide of a range, let me tell you.

Enter: Just Dance 4.

Music is the great equalizer in our house. We can (usually) find music that we all enjoy. We love to dance, and my boys LOVE video games. Just Dance 4 covers all of the bases for us, so when we were asked to check it out I jumped at the chance!

Headless Boy is not only my son, but he's also known as BST Factor in the gaming world. He has made the greatest montage video of all of us trying failing having a blast with this game. (PS- He's a killer video editor too. Kid's gonna go somewhere, I tell you. Tell me if you don't agree.)

I know that during Thanksgiving and the Christmas holidays we are going to use this game a lot. We had a blast trying out different songs and different levels of difficulty. I worked up a sweat which is perfect for getting the blood pumping after a big meal. Ahem. And, next week when the kids go back to school there is a 'Just Sweat' section that I can't wait to dive in to. I'm hoping that I won't need to go up a size in pants by January. All of my friends talk about how much they love Zumba class and I figure I can just play a video game for an hour or so every day and get the same effect. I'll let you know how it goes but I'm guessing I can have the pumpkin AND the apple pie.

And that is a win in this house, no matter what your age.

Oh...my...GAWD...this was great...could not stop laughing :) The part where you're like "This is the stupidest thing I have EVER heard!" had me rolling!!! Really looked like you guys were having a lot of fun and that's the best part of playing these types of games. Awesome video, my friend!

Looks like so much fun. I think I need to put that on my Christmas list!
