Old School, Yo.

Inspiration came from Anna today. If you're so inclined join in and link up!

What is the last thing you watched on TV? Days of our Lives on the DVR right now, as a matter of fact.

When did you last step outside? What were you doing? About 3 hours ago, I went to pick up my son at band.

What is on the walls of the room you are in?
A painting by my friend Carrie, things that HG brought for us from Malawi, and some other prints/mirrors.

If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy?
I would probably buy new blinds/shades/curtains for our dining room. We have vaulted ceilings and the custom ones that are there are SO HIDEOUS. Since the windows are about 100 inches and are about 40 inches off the floor they have to be custom, and custom is expensive, y'all.

Tell me something about you that most people don’t know.
Despite my sinful ways, I am falling more and more in love with Jesus each day. I hope that someday it shows on the outside, too.

Who made the last incoming call on your phone?
On the house phone: a telemarketer. I rarely answer it anymore. On my cell: my husband. However, I had to call him back from the house phone because I get such terrible reception in our neighborhood. Thus the reason for our house phone!

If you could change something about your home, without worry about expense or mess, what would you do?
I would put in a pool, spa, and add on a room/bathroom. Or do the kitchen. Or add french doors off the master bedroom and add a full deck. How about all three?

What was the last thing you bought?
A travel coffee mug for my husband.

Would you go bungee jumping or sky diving?
HELL NO. Neither one, not now, not ever. NO.

If you could eat lunch with one famous person, who would it be?
Jesus. But if it had to be a current, live, on this earth, famous in the US type? Maybe the authors Pat Conroy and Dorothea Benton Frank. They seem like such fun people to be around. OH! and Jimmy Buffett. We would have boat drinks and cheeseburgers.

Which store would you choose to max out your credit card?
Probably a department store because then I could get clothing for my whole family, furniture, linens, a little of everything.

Is the glass half empty or half full?
Mostly full. But sometimes empty. I don't tend to think in 'half full' or 'half empty' terms.

What’s the farthest-away place you’ve been?
When I was 22 I went to Singapore and South Korea.

What’s under your bed?
I honestly can't recall. I know that there isn't much there anymore because the bed frame is very low on the outside and only very small things can get under there now. See: shoes, socks, etc.

What is your favorite time of the day?
Evening. I love the long shadows and chatting about the day with my husband over a glass of wine.

What Inspires You?
I think that inspiration comes from many sources. My Bible is one. Good friends are another. And then there's Pinterest. Heh.

Thanks Anna. I needed this distraction today. (Kinda like I needed a hole in the head. But I had fun anyway!)

Love your answer about Jesus, I've been feeling that way too and it is beyond wonderful. I have always wanted to skydive and bungee jump but I want a guarantee that I would live! I love the evening too except for bowling on Tuesday's. Fun post and enjoyed reading your answers.

I will not be volunteering for bungee jumping or skydiving - ever. I love that you thought of your family when it comes to maxing out your credit card - that is sweet. I was thinking about a new camera and photography stuff for myself but if I went to a department store I could still get that stuff and stuff for them too - brilliant!

I loved reading this! I am a few episodes behind behind on Days so I am guessing I'll be catching up on that this weekend. Oh, yeah, I know how to party!
Also, I'll help you hold purses etc while the other fools are bungee jumping of skydiving 'cause hell to the no. :)
