I'm going to start answering your questions, in no particular order. The very funny and very supportive Melisa asked:
If money were no object, where would you go for vacation and why?
I've been to many places in the US and overseas already and loved most of them. I've always loved to travel-I grew up in an airline family and our vacations were more of the 'hop on a plane' variety vs. friends' families that hopped in the car and/or pitched a tent. I think my first trip out of the country on my own was at just-shy of my 20th birthday. I've been to a majority of the states.
But a vacation? Anywhere? The places that I have always wanted to go that I haven't been are:
- Paris
- Italy, including the Vatican
- Key West
- Costa Rica
- New Zealand
- Barcelona
- Prague
What places would be on your vacation list?

I'll go to all of those places with you!
I'm dying to do a cycling trip in Italy. I went on one in Spain (including Barcelona, which is AWESOME!) and France a few years ago and loved it. Just five more years until Eli's the minimum age, and we'll be there! (Thankfully he loves bikes.)
We're taking him to see the ocean for spring break. Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. I can't wait to see what he thinks of the beach.
I would love to go to Italy or some place tropical.
Seeing your list reminded me of my family. My sister-in-law is from Costa Rica and she and my brother are going there for almost a full month in December. I'm not at all jealous....
I think I'd like to see Australia. I'm really interested in going anywhere that isn't in a car. I Love car trips because you can stop and smell the roses. I'd also like to do a train trip cross country just to say I did.
I like your list and you should take Shelby with you someday! I loved Paris. I will join you when you go to Prague, I do want to go there.
So much for being supportive: I'M THIS FAR BEHIND ON READING BLOGS. (sorry)
You have a great list and I would also gladly volunteer to accompany you. :)
Europe is my main scene (especially Germany and England) but I love the Caribbean too...
