Because Carmen did it, and I need it, here are the things that have recently made me happy:

  • My visiting parents, who don't look at me funny because my house isn't clean. (Thank God. After the month that I've had!)
  • My first pedicure in almost 2 years....Thanks Mom!
  • Baseball
  • Days of our Lives
  • Siobhan finally getting voted off AI. (Sorry, but I couldn't handle the scream one.more.night.)
  • Sunshine. Even if warmth isn't with it, just yet.
  • Less than one month of school left.
  • Fluffy cupcakes, white with chocolate frosting and sprinkles.
  • A vanilla-lime candle from my dear friend, for Easter.
  • Finding just the right pieces for my spring wardrobe.
  • Pink
So. What's making you happy this week?

My pedi from a month ago (courtesy of my MIL) is growing out. I'm gonna need a new one soon.

I, too, am SO glad that school is almost out for summer. I have so many fun plans- can't wait!

Things that have made me happy this week:
Having spending money (with which to buy);
new clothes, a size smaller!
new running shoes

Getting back in sync with hubby... Oh yeah.... ;)

Smiles from the baby
Random "I love you Mamas" from the other 'babies.'

Sun. Especially when unaccompanied by the wind.

Oh how I love pedicures! Such a nice reminder of all of the happiness there is in each day. This week I'm happy because it's so warm... like summer. And that just makes me smile.

We are cupcake twins.

I get to go up to Michigan tomorrow with a few of my favorite humans and my camera. It should be surreal.
