The funny part about this is that if I were sitting in Memphis today, with my extended family, eating Chicken and Dumplins or Red Beans and Rice I most definitely would have gotten a different answer. Does it come out accurate for you? Leave me a comment and let me know!
Thanks to Dana for posting this first!
Oh, and since we're having a garage sale today this was a great post to fill in while I haggle with all of my non-english speaking fellow southern Californians so they will take our stuff off of my hands so I won't have to leave the house to get rid of it. Just doing my part for the Mexican economy.

Okay I did it. And even though I am 4th generation Orange County...it says I have a MID WEST accent.
Huh? Whaaa? Sure I lived in Chicago for 3 years. And the whole time I was there people made fun of my 'California Accent' and often getting 'you sound like one of those surfer/valley girl people'....I didn't get that either.
But seriously? Mid West? I am confused now.
I came in "From the South".
Nothing new there !!!
Dad
I know y'all are amazed to find that I have a southern accent, down here in Birmingham. The podcasts on my blog probably alerted you to that!
