6:30

I am not a morning person. Honestly, if the day routinely began around 9 I would be a happy camper. I prefer my days to last long into the evening, when it's quiet. There is something peaceful about the night that is just not found in the heat of the day. Or morning, for that matter.

Alas, my husband is not. He bounds out of bed around 5 a.m. He commences with head-bobs around 8 p.m. on the couch. Opposites attract, and all that. Hmph.

You might remember that a few days ago he woke me up because of the gopher? Yep. 6:30.

Yesterday, it was for insurance paperwork. Again. 6:30.

Today? It was body lotion, or more accurately, the lack of. You got it. 6:30.

Dear 6:30 a.m.,

You blow.

Sincerely,
Headless Mom

I'm just the opposite, but I think if my husband actually woke me up for body lotion I would not be happy...

I'm usually at work by 6:30, so you know...there's always that!

Have fun in NYC in a few weeks. I will miss you!

I'm not a morning person either but I am always up by 7am. Blog until mid afternoon and then shower! Hey, did you hear from Andria about not bowling on our team?

Hilarious. Glad to read he's feeling well enough for his main concerns to be gophers, paperwork and dry skin!

Sorry, but I find that he is completely clueless to the insanity of function at that time of the day, hilarious.

Swap the 6:30 for 5:30 and you have my hubby. At that time of day, you CAN HAVE HIM.
