Thursday already? Where has the time gone? Oh yeah, to the pool, to the tennis court, and on my parent's fabulous deck. Seriously. If you can't relax on this deck, with this view, with virtually no noise except for the birds? You've got a problem.
We haven't planned much for this visit; seeing a few friends, swimming at the club, hopefully catch a Rockies game. I have a bloggy meet-up or two that I'm hoping to get in. Mostly I just want to breathe the clean mountain air, have some cocktails, and relax. And that's just what I'm doing.
If you've never been here, you should visit. This is where my soul lives.
See you soon!

Isn't it the GREATEST to return to roots. "This is where my soul lives" is JUST how I feel about my Wisconsin heritage. You said it perfectly.
I was just sitting here looking at Cheyenne Mountain and thinking what a beautiful state I live in...
Is this the same home that we went to on a pledge class retreat? If so it was BEAUTIFUL! So glad you are able to go home and visit with your folks. Have a great time.
Actually they moved over to the golf club, but the view is equally as wonderful!
I think I definitely have to find this place:)
That's a great place to leave your soul :)
I better be one of your bloggy meet-ups!!! :) This air is good for the soul
came over by Debby's blog (Just Breathe) to wish you a happy birthday today (Wednesday). A vacation in the Rockies sounds like a very nice thing indeed! sounds like you were having a good time too!!
