I've seen people go back through old posts and link to some of their faves. Others post about what they've learned over the years of blogging. After sitting here for quite some time thinking about it, I've still got nuthin'.
I'm blessed to have made so many good friends from this little outlet. I've had some fabulous opportunities come my way. My heart has rejoiced with some of you, and cried with some of you. Some of you have even had both.
I've been thinking a lot about the direction I want to go with all of this. Do I change what I'm doing or how I'm doing it? Or do I stay the course because it is comfortable and relatively easy? I love getting 'work' from the blog. I really love writing. I am a writer. (That right there was just for my Cultivated Writer friends!) My kids have even made friends from this little venture, which is so, so cool. I love that they are learning to navigate the internet and make friends at such a young age when I can help and give them tips on things that I had to learn on my own. This little box is their future and if they can learn now then they are already ahead of the curve.
So, here's to five years, my friends. Let's keep doing this for a long, long time. I'd miss you if we didn't!

4 years ago when we moved here, I had NEVER read a blog. Yours was the first. When we first met you invited me to read.....thanks for introducing me to the blogosphere...what an amazing place...like nothing I've ever participated in before. Top on my list is the "Headless" blog and ones linked to you through connections. Happy Blogiversary!

Happy Anniversary. It's pretty neat that you started on the first of the month. I don't remember exactly when I started blogging and I've moved so many times over the years I can't even go back and look.
