A mid-week holiday,
An extra hour (OK, hour and a half) of sleep,
Fresh coffee,
Going to the park-
7 kids, and one sweet, wonderful girl friend,
Heart-felt chat,
A house full of yummy smells coming from
Dinner in the slow cooker,
Time to finish left over chores,
blog posts, and to
Sit,
With quiet,
Punctuated with sounds of boys, and
Baseball, and
Football, and
Fall
All outside my back door,
Windows open,
Fresh breeze,
Lazy autumn day,
Thankful for the freedom so many have given.
