The kids, they are a fallin'

In addition to HB1 starting to get the crud, HB2 had a 104 fever after school yesterday. Perfect!

So, we went to urgent care, because of course their regular doctor is out of town for the holidays. Neither one of the boys is sick with anything that requires anything other than lots of mom time and motrin. Just the time of year when I have GOBS of time to pend on the couch watching Transformers and Spiderman3 for the 3,026th time. At least the guy gave me a prescription for each of them for Monday when they get really sick. Then I won't have to go back and say "See! they are sick! HA!"

And I still haven't finished shopping. And Headless Dad had been working about an average of 16 hours a day for the last 2 weeks. And my bathrooms are starting to get really gross. And we have to cook Christmas day, so much shopping is in my future. And Headless Girl wants to spend all of her time with her boyfriend and other friends.

And all I want to do is sleep! Do you think I could get away with morning cocktails in the Kindergarten class today? It may be the only way that I can get through gingerbread houses with 33 kids.

Ah ha - - - it appears that you are not only a headless mom, but also a headless kindergarten teacher!!!! I too am a teacher, though not in kindergarten nor headless.

:-)

Hubby and I did ALL our Christmas shopping in ONE FELL SWOOP on Saturday, Dec. 22. I just simply CANNOT face it while still in school.
