Answer me this: How old should a child be to follow these directions: Please go upstairs, put on your jammies, and brush your teeth.
Seriously. How old?
And how long should they have? 2 minutes? 5? 10?
Because apparently I'm doing it wrong.
As well as breathing and flash cards. Who knew there was a wrong way?

Here's the GOOD news: It only gets worse.
Its not you, its the rest of the family.
At least that is what I keep telling myself, so I must be right, right?!!?
Maybe it's your expectation that there's a right way.... :)
Thank God !! I thought I was the only person with that problem !
Oh Sam...lol - when you're the Mom, it's ALWAYS OUR WAY, which absolutely IS the right way! :) And I think it is expected...or maybe i'm the only one?
Well HM, here's the deal if you managed to get HD out the door being able to do 3 things in a row, without forgetting something...you did great!
16 is still a tough one. Please unload the dishwasher, reload and take out the trash. She'll always forget something...that is, AFTER she goes to the bathroom, puts on lipgloss and goes upstairs to change.
Time limit? You mean we can set one? LOOLOLOL -
Good luck with all that!
well of course you are doing it wrong...i know only because i don't do it right either.
OMG - my sentiments EXACTLY. I think we both need to drink.
Steph - I know. I'm married....
My girls are grown and I still can't get them to grasp the concept of jammies, brush your teeth, and go to bed.
It's too complicated when you tell them more than one thing, and just like Keetha says, "It only gets worse."
