Turning the Corner

Thanks for all of the kind words about me feeling better. I think I've turned the corner. At least my head doesn't feel like it's going to explode anymore!

Turning a corner. That phrase symbolizes a point of change. A corner means that, even if you look back, you cannot see the path before as a straight line. A definitive change of direction.

We all have those moments in our lives. For me, coming to California for a business trip in November of 1996 was probably the single biggest 'corner' I have rounded. I may not have recognized it as such at the time, but that trip forever changed the direction of my life. That was the trip when I met HD and HG and started my journey to becoming a wife and mom. Pretty big direction change from the single 'party girl' that I was before I took that trip, no?

What is the 'turning a corner' moment in your life?

For me that corner occurred when I made the decision to go back to college in my late thirties. the catalyst for doing so was not mine, but once it occurred it completely changed who I was a person, I believe it made me better.:)

I think I turned a corner when we left Canada for the USA, and then we made a U-ey to come back in 2003. I don't think I would change a single turn.

We switched provinces a year ago. That was a really big deal!

I'm pretty sure I am having one of those turn the corner moments right now...I am about to spend my second night in our brand new house that we bought about a month ago. We are completely in boxes, and still a little shell shocked about moving in the first place, but I know, without a doubt, that this was a good move for us.
