Take that, 2014

I feel like, so far, I'm kicking 2014's ass. Just take a look at what I've already accomplished!

We started eating out of our winter garden. Romaine lettuce!

Laundry, of course, but now with more money for Mom!

Big DIY project. Detail post to come.

Dinner with friends. Unfortunately we didn't get to eat this 14.5 lb. lobster.
And that was just in the first week. This week I have:
  • Paid bills
  • Gotten a car insurance thing worked out, including an HOUR on the phone.
  • Went to bowling
  • Withdrew my 8th grader from public school
  • Started home schooling him (More to come on this, too!)
  • Attended church on Wednesday night
  • Picked up my Bible again after a Christmas hiatus.
  • Survived a septic tank over flow
  • Survived my husband being out of town over night for business
I feel like 2014 is going to be the year of ACTION for me. No more waiting for something to happen; I'm going to make things happen. Even if it's just the laundry.

What are you going to make happen this year?

Hit enter too soon! I am looking forward to hearing about the switch to homeschooling and the DIY project. Those are big accomplishments!

I'm also interested in seeing where this school thing goes. And Money in Laundry? I think I need to do laundry at your house.

Your romaine looks awesome and that is some lobster! The drawers look great and nothing like finding money in the laundry. Have a nice weekend.
