I can't wait for MYSELF to be on holidays. Uni is dragging. And if I'm on holidays, BlogHer can't be far away!
I have two kids one in high school and one in middle school. I can't wait for school to be out for the year. I don't know who is more excited me or the kids. We are all ready for a break and change in the routine.

Forget the kids (it is, after all, their last day today), like missy, I'M exited to be out of school! Just one more 20 page paper to write that's due on June 3rd....
My son got out yesterday and we slept until 9:30 a.m. He was so ready for school to be over. It has been a rocky ride this year.
I was one who was jumping up and down for school to end until we had a three day weekend last week and those brats bickered the whole time. I was reminded of how we are not yet to the age where long, endless days of nothing to do but fry our brains with TV will actually occupy their time. So, I'm torn. I can't wait to drink some good mommy only drinks at baseball and not have to get up bright and early for school. But that is ME being excited for MY summer...I'm selfish that way. the pool opens tomorrow so I am excited for some good skin cancer, junk food and good times. But don't worry, I have a sharp object ready to stab my eyes out at any moment.
This TEACHER is way excited to be OUT OF SCHOOL. (Well, 2 more half days and then I will be out)
We've got about 7 days...4 full days, and 3 half days. (High School) and I'm telling you it could not be over sooner! CRAM, CRAM, CRAM....YUCK!
Tuesday was our first "official" day of summer vacation and I don't know who was happier...me or my kids. Now, if only it felt like summer around here. We've been in the 50s for 3 days!

mer - Tell me about the weather! My wife was itching to be outside at the pool this Tuesday, but Mother Nature had other plans. (I'm Headless Mom's brother, and I live south of Denver)
Not to mention the kids driving her nuts, asking her what we were going to do next, can we call this friend, can we play that game.... My wife about flipped. "JUST RELAX!" she said. "We've got all summer!"
I'm sure we must've driven our parents mad, as well. :)
i am so ready for school to be out! we don't finish until june 13. two more weeks...and then we can all sleep in. i'm sure it won't be long before we hear how bored they are, but at this point i'll take it!
